1.4 We may update our General Terms & Conditions of Use policies and this Privacy Statement from time to time.  The most current version will be located on our website and should be reviewed by you at regular intervals so that you are familiar with any changes that may occur.

1.5 YAKMATE reserves the right to update (make changes to) this Policy as required and without any prior notice being given.

1.6 You have the right NOT to provide your information to YAKMATE when requested to do so on the YAKMATE Website, but you will NOT be able to become a Registered Member which limits your Access to Actively Participate in various elements of the Website, Forum & Jack's Blog. 

1.7 If you choose to decline providing your Personal Information then as a Guest, you can still use the YAKMATE Website to watch YAKMATE Members Submitted Videos and Read Comments Posted in the YAKMATE Comment Forums & on Jack's Blog.  

1.8 If you need to contact YAKMATE regarding the Privacy Policy or if you have a complaint about the way we manage personal information or if you wish to Cancel your Membership then please email the Administrator on:

2. INFORMATION COLLECTED

2.1 YAKMATE Collects your Personal Information (as Detailed on the Membership Submission Form on the LOGIN Page of the YAKMATE Website) during the Yakmate Membership Registration process to Establish & Confirm Your Membership. You will also be required to provide your name (only) when you Submit your Videos to YAKMATE on the YOUR YAK Page.

2.2 YAKMATE Uses the Information Collected to identify YAKMATE Members and to send Emails or Newsletters to those Members.

2.3 YAKMATE will NOT pass, share, sell or distribute your private information in any way to third parties in normal situations and will take reasonable steps to provide the protection of the information provided to us by you.

2.4 We will ONLY disclose your personal information where we are required or authorised to by law for any purposes connected to a fraud, crime prevention and any other investigation or legal requirement.

2.5 YAKMATE may use this information for Internal Uses only relating to Statistical Analysis & General Administration of the Website. 

3. INFORMATION SECURITY & STORAGE

3.1 The LOGIN & YOUR YAK Pages request you provide Personal Information so you can Register Your YAKMATE Membership or Submit Your Video & Comments. These Pages use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Encryption for the Data you provide for Transmission across the Internet to our HOSTING Company's Data Centre Server and into the YAKMATE Membership Database. You will Note that the prefix to the YAKMATE URL has an additional  ' s ' (i.e. https ) which indicates it is a Secure Page. There is also an additional Padlock Symbol in the LOCKED Position noted on your Browser's Page which  identifies this as a Secure (SSL) Page.

3.2 The Encrypted Transmission Files are a measure utilised by YAKMATE to protect, as far as is reasonably possible, your personal information from any interception, unauthorised access, misuse, loss, modification or disclosure.

3.3 YAKMATE Stores your personal information in an electronic format on the YAKMATE Member Database in a form of records and files. Backups of the Database are kept also in Electronic Format. Access to these Databases is Limited to the YAKMATE Administrator. No Paper Records are kept of the Personal Information you provide.

3.4 You will only be identified on the YAKMATE Webiste, YAKMATE Comment FORUMS or Jack's Blog by the Username you Create & Submit during the YAKMATE Membership Registration Process.

3.5 YAKMATE has NO Control of the Use of any Additional personal information you provide in your submitted Video or Written comments content that you voluntarily disclose online (e.g. your name, your address etc ). This additional information may be collected and used by others so BEWARE of the Content of your Video & Comments Submitted as YAKMATE cannot be held accountable for any negative impact to you (or others) that may arise from such.

3.6 If you wish to contact another Member then DO NOT do so in the General Viewing POSTED FORUM or BLOG Comments where ALL (Members & Guests) can view. There may be occassions where MEMBERS wish to communicate with each other and this CAN BE DONE via the FORUM where Private Messages (emails) can be sent between Members by using the User Control Panel Private Messaging Facility.
